Accessibility

This app exists so that the exhibition “The Puppet X-rayed” is accessible to as many visitors as possible.

The app follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.2 at conformance level AA, and partially at level AAA. We test it regularly with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver), with the keyboard, and with screen magnification tools (NVDA, Magnifier, Fusion).

What we do for accessibility

Every exhibit’s content is available in several forms: as an audio description, in Estonian sign language, as simplified text and as the exhibit text. The app works without signing in or setting anything up, and it copes with a poor internet connection.

Known issues

The audio description is currently available as text; narrated audio files are in production and will be added soon.
